Well, we all do like acceleration!!!!!!! The spread on shifts is also very nice on the 6 speed with the.64!!!!!
Wow took a bit to catch up on the 57 Dave . I like the front fender mod and almost any vision you have .
Thanks Bobby, wish I had that much confidence in my visions!!!!! Some of them are downright scary!!!!!:LOL::LOL:
Well, after talking with some of my old racin' buds, seems there might be a trip to Bonneville for the '57!!!! Bonneville has definitely been on my bucket list for awhile, then Uncle Bob and some of his pals made the trip and came back with lots of good reports so for now I guess it will be a 'definite maybe' on the list of things to do!!!! Roger has been doing some of the math and calculations, sounds like the LS-7 will have plenty of power to make some respectable runs with the right gearing so we're considering some options there, too!!!! Aerodynamics would seem to be the biggest consideration, how to get a '57 Chevy with aerodynamics about the same as a barn door, to go fast while still retaining some semblance of a stock look on the body!!!! Oh well, if it was easy, everybody would be doing it!!!!!!:LOL::LOL:
I'll volunteer to be crew "supervisor".................I does dat goooood.
More good news!!! Think my lawyer and his partner are going to jump in this Bonneville stuff, too!!!! Uncle Bob should be relieved tonight that if his crew supervision fails, we will have legal counsel on site!!!!!!
PS--I'm not sure if this would be good news or bad news??????:confused:
Very cool. I'll order my Rulebook today.

P.S. Will Uncle Bob need a copy of my resume? I feel a need to show respect for these older fellows.
