    32 Ford 5 window

I brought this to top to show method of mounting fuel tanks in one of these cars------tanks are about as well protected as I could make them and exhaust heat wasn't a problem because car had side pipe/headers on it-

some pics of a 32 ford build I did a few years ago
The first pic shows a view where you can see the Heiht's 9 in Ford IRS with quad shocks, the Mustang Hydroboost brake master AND the twin 8 gallon stainless fuel tanks--the tanks inlets are the 2 tubes at the right rear corner of the right side tank and the left tank is fed from the inboard tube internally across the back to the tube sticking out of the left tank, just above the pinion area. the tanks balanced by the outlet lines at the lower front of the tanks(not installed yet) and there is a aprox one gallon common header /fill tank mounted in the upper forward trunk area with a Cobra /LeMans flip top type fill cap.
The second pic you can see the notch at the bottom of the tank where I put the fabricated screened outlet fitting.
Fourth pic shows bottom of tank area and crossmember with the two forward mounting for the lower links
Fifth pic shows rear view of the rear
