$117.50/ton!:CRY::eek:
I'm lucky to have a burn hole at my place in the pasture. It's crazy how much stuff has been burned in there over the years. It looks like you don't need a four lane highway there yet :LOL:
Yesterday we took the orange truck to our local car show in town. I didn't win anything but the kids enjoyed looking at all the cars and trucks. They even had semis from the ATHS there. One of the members came down to where we were at and was talking to my brother and I about joining the ATHS. He said they are trying to get more pick ups involved in it. He said most people don't realize that the trucks in ATHS is any truck that was built in the USA and was worked in the USA. We'll see, it might be fun.
ATHS??? Huh?
AHhhhh... thanks for the link.
Thanks from me too.
Our bus would most probably qualify us to become members of that group.
A few weeks ago I started loading my cast up. The pile had slid down and got to be a pain in the rear to get around. Plus once it freezes to the ground, it will be no fun to deal with. Last week I decided I best go unload the stuff before I actually needed the truck. My little load was 2860. Their scale showed the truck with my son and I, and a near full tank of fuel to be 6980lbs. The air bags were at around 38psi to have the truck level. The tires are at 65psi. It road nicer than when empty and handled just fine. On the way back home my little helper who wasn't tired, passed right out. :LOL:
I still haven't decided if I want to take the light metals in. It's only $65/ton. But I am tired of looking at it so I probably will.
I tend to fall asleep in that position as well :LOL:
If I fell asleep like that I wouldn't be able to move for 3 days. :LOL::LOL:
