Last picture before it is all coated.

That turned out great!
While waiting on the coaters I decided to tackle the fuel tank.
Started late Tuesday and finished this morning. I still have to weld in the filler and do some crafty work on the bed floor to tie it all together.
Roughing it in just using the brake and stomp sheer

Very nice work!!! Tank looks great and should work even better! What fuel pump are you running in the tank?
Thanks! Should be a good unit!
more awesomeness!! that tank came out great.
man, i put alot of time an effort into my wife's little truck but i got nothing on what you've done-you certainly have some enviable skills
and once again thanks for the extra effort involved in keeping us informed.
.
I am blown away by the level of this build. Seriously nice work man. I do not plan on going exactly this route with my build, but this give me serious inspiration. Keep those pics comin!
Headers are back from the coater. They will be installed tomorrow morning. Fuel lines will be in tomorrow afternoon and I will get those on Tuesday morning.

Thought I would also show the merge spikes. The polishing substrate has since been removed from the tubing joint.

I had to go back to the beginning of this build again,,to catch up.. Man,,that's some nice work you have done on that lil truck.. Awesome stuff.. It's guys like you who make me lift my game .. ;) In regards to your ''poor man's lift'',,yup,,it works well. I saw another guy on here, build those,,and he had them under his Chev Aero.. I built some myself to stick under my wife's 55 Customline.. much easier to crawl around under there,now.. ;)
Great work on your tank, and man those headers look awesome!
x2 on the headers-they look like they should be framed and hung on the wall.
Thanks guys. I pretty proud of the headers.
Here are a few pictures of them on the truck and the master cylinder mounted.

Next are few pictures of the finished fuel lines. The lines from the tank to the bulkheads and from the front bulkheads to the engine are 6 AN PTFE lined hoses made for me by Nitrous Outlet. The hardlines are stainless.

The list to get this thing ready to be torn apart for paint is shrinking fast.
I have to do the following before the tear down
1.Fabricate under dash brake pedal assembly
2.Mount front brake line bulkhead tabs
3.Make front brake lines
4.Finish inside A/C and Heater lines
5.Mount Throttle Pedal assembly and drill a hole in the firewall
6.Make throttle cable
7.Make evap unit drain line
8.Relocate power window and headlight switches
Doesn't look like much, but the brake pedal assembly is going to be a fight.
That sure does look nice with all that SS line. I bet the brake pedal assy will be tricky. I look forward to what you come up with on it.
