Thanks glad you like it.
Great work! The tank polished up really nice! The engine looks super too!
Thanks Ryan. I have a long way to go but she is getting there.
Who makes those valve covers and breathers? I like 'em!
Well it doesn't look much different than it did before but after 'SEVERAL" hours working on my little lathe I made 2 new air cleaner bases out of aluminum. The chrome ones were too big for the filters and very sloppy on the the carbs. So now the filter is just about a pressed fit and there is about .010 clearance sitting on the carb. In other words it fits perfect. I finished up working on the tail lights. I polished out all the brass and repainted the buckets. My shop was throwing away some parts with stainless 3/8" conduit on them so I polished them up and they look great coming out of the buckets. I put the headlights on and did a bunch of stuff you can't see. I polished a bunch more bolts and installed the alternator bracket, water pump, pulley's, and test fit my fan. I started figuring out my exhaust and got a quote from a custom exhaust place for $1600-$2000....yeah I don't think that's gonna happen. It's all mandrel bent and aluminized & it will most likely be perfect but nah. I'll figure out a cheaper way. I have to I just can't afford that kind of money for just an exhaust system. On to some pictures!

for exhaust, look at Magna flow cat back kit for late 90s early 2000s mustang-fits good up over rear with coil overs and tail pipes under frame rails between tank and fenders-stainless also!!!!!!
It is looking good. Nice work on those air cleaner bases!
just finished reading the last couple of pages - great work and looks most excellent
what did you use to hold your brake lines to the chassis rails?
Nice pile of swarf.. the air cleaners came out great.. good job.
Love your build, and I like the way you recycle. I save everything and constantly looking for stuff I can use. Watching this build really close, really nice the way the family is involved.
Ditto above x2
Been working on my heater. I picked up a small heat exchanger at a swapmeet right next to the guy that had the heater. Almost like it was meant to be.
