Absolutely fantastic build - the quality and attention to detail is off the chart and she sure sounds fantastic. I was hoping to see a little burn out!!"Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

those back glasses are fun . i fought the one in the 56 for a week before discovering there are 2 different rubber seals. the reproduction glass seal wont work with the stock glass. you get it about 70% in then it would lock up.
looks good , i know your getting excited now

You are right about the back glass giving fits. I did not install the glass did not want the headache I had a mobile glass guy do it. The Windshield went in easy only took about 15 min, but the back glass gave them fits. They were about to give up until I told them if you break the glass its on me. I will get another one. I did not have the stock glass so its all reproduction stuff. After a tough fight they got it in there with no damage to the glass. My Chevy Truck Project

spent a week on it. got the right seal and it fell in place in about 15 min . the repro glass is just a tiny bit too big. takes a bunch of dawn soap to get them to slide in . got an old nasty slick rope for them .

Every shop needs a jumbo bottle of Dawn soap. Good for every kind of lube on soft parts, i.e., getting rubber parts to seat, vacuum fittings, and oh by the way - works pretty good with hot water on cleaning up stuff you get back from the machine shop - blocks, heads, cranks, etc. It's also good to wash up the hands (who would have thought?)
Word of advice - get you own bottle and DO NOT borrow mama's (ask me how I know this?)"Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

Several years ago we did quite a good trip of USA, and on our trip we got to meet Mike and Christine Frade. We didn't stay long with them, but in that relatively short time we both gained a great...
