1968 Mustang Project
This is my Mom's car. She baught it about 15yrs ago and the last year and a half or so we have been collecting parts for it. It's getting a 350 and Th350. Just kidding. It's getting a fuel injected 5.0 and an AOD from a 91 Grand Marquis. We're switching the map to maf, I have some ported and polished heads with new valve springs and a cam, valve covers, bigger injectors, and new distributor. I have a painless wiring harness for the engine, we have all the parts to rebuild the front end, disc brake kit for the front, most of the new interior pieces, new shackles and leaf springs, new gas tank, and I gave her the wheels and tires I had on my 40. Now we need sheet metal parts and odds and ends. Hopefully we can get it running and drivable this winter.

You really are Superman! With multiple projects going at the same time, plus work and a family.... I bow to you!!!

I have 2 brothers that help out on some of this stuff. My Dad will be helping on the mustang too. We're really limited to shop space since we only have 2 bays. Right now while I'm working on the 40, my youngest brother is removing the front axle from my 95 F-350. We help each other and all have project lists way too long.
My plan right now is to get my 40 back together as a roller, and get the engine and trans mocked back up in it. Then the money will have to go to the Hemi. So while I'm saving and buying engine parts I'd like to do as much work to the COE as I can since I won't need money to do most of it until the finishing comes in. On the other side of the shop the mustang can be getting suspension and under body work done. We'll see how it really goes.
