Hell yes, the car is coming together brilliantly. I have followed your build post since the beginning and as others have said and I will repeat myself, your amazing eye for detail, your skill in manufacturing one off items to not only do a practical job but to look blood awesome is outstanding. As somebody mentioned earlier, they would understand if it was driven on the street but I think that once you have trailed it to some events, it would be sad if you didn't get out and drive the wheels off it due to the time you have spend building it right. Congratulations on such a fine piece of automobile art.

I have thought many times about taking the time and money to make my 40 nice like your 48. But, I know my patience level (and money level) isn't there yet. But I'll for sure watch and enjoy your build! What tips do you have to keep from scratching things during assembly? Bolt heads to painted areas and such.
-
Thanks again guys..
Tips? time just take your time, tape everything up around them and never settle for just ok make every part going on the car as nice and detailed as you can make it.
And last enjoy yourself and your car and build it the way you like. not what others think and like best of luck.

Funny, after posting the color question this morning, I saw a CRV on the way to my gym. I thought, I'll bet that's the color right there! Sure enough....it is!:3dSMILE:

lol yep same color..
i just used a black sealer to darken it up a tad.
-
I am a total nut when it comes to pro street. You have done an amazing job and it does show.
-
Very impressive! Your workmanship is about as good as it gets!!
-
-
Do you plan to take it to the Detroit Autorama for Ridler contention? Seems to be in that league, to me.
-
Thanks man
Certainly nothing at that level but it should show well.
I do go to detroit and would like to take the car butttt seems every year we leave here from ohio to go there knee deep snow. dont think i want to haul that far in the snow.
I plan on doing some indoor isca stuff for a few years than going to racing the wheels off of it.
Fuel cell all polished up.

I have considerable experience inspecting mega-buck, professionally-built race cars and I see on your car what I saw on those cars, perfection......like a piece of automotive jewelry that will continue to amaze those who appreciate this type of art. This car is as nicely done as any I have ever seen. Good on ya mate!! :3dSMILE:

Thanks for the pictures! I copied your first one to send to my son-in-law to help him understand why a shroud is necessary on an electric fan....
