I figured I'd post this here too.
Well, sad day here. I decided to put my 34 Chevy up for sale just for the fun of it. Even more stupid on my part was that I mentioned that I had a 32 3 window. Long story short, this guy wasn't a tire kicker. He drove 5 hours with his girlfriend and their four dogs to come see it. I told him my price he said no problem and as we walked out of the garage a slider pulled up and we counted out some cash. It happened so fast I was still in a daze as it drove away. So with that we close the door on the wife's time saver coupe.

Well, that went too easy so I hope you made a dollar or two on the car. The bank account will look healthy but I find driving a bank statement not much fun down the street sadly. Hope you find something to replace her car with although Mrs Jim may have other plans.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

We had it for a couple seasons and made money so in my book that's a win. Mamma wants a back seat so we'll see what we can find. She loves cars so I have that on my side. I'm afraid it gets worse. I have a guy coming Sunday to look at my car. So I may be down to just the unfinished 34 Tudor. Time will tell.

Count it as a blessing in this market. The number of guys who, for a variety of reasons, aren't finding their buyer is at an all time high............especially for glass cars. There is a lot of inventory out there............Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

It's a problem more of us should have, to be sure..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Several years ago we did quite a good trip of USA, and on our trip we got to meet Mike and Christine Frade. We didn't stay long with them, but in that relatively short time we both gained a great...
