Yes, the under cabinet lights are great when preparing food. We also put lights above the cabinets and put plastic tiles on the ceiling to cover the old cracked plaster. The only light in the kitchen that isn't LED is the bulb in the oven, so when they're all on it's only pulling about 150 watts.:3dSMILE:

Thanks Seth. I used LED light bars that I bought at Home Depot. They come in different lengths and can be linked end-to-end. They aren't real expensive and come with the hardware to mount them. I used them on top and underneath.

I nearly forgot about the counter top, we had a local guy make us one out of Black Walnut. The place is called Live Edge and they took two slabs and put them together like you see with the black epoxy river and the a clear epoxy top. They did a really nice job.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! Christian made that for us in shop class in school. It was made on a laser engraver. It's pretty neat.
