Nothing new to post about, but people like my bird----

Well, not my bird. but the one I had painted on my tonneau cover. I won the "Best Hotrod Truck" trophy at the season opening show last night.----Everybody had a favourable comment about the "Wild Canary" caricature, and everybody went 'OoooHHH, AaaaHHH, about the power operated tonneau cover. Trouble is, having won the trophy at the very first event, I have been asked not to enter the judging for the rest of the season, and give some of the new builders a chance!!! Oh well, yeah, I can do that. I feel kinda bad about not having anything "Hotroddy" to post about, but the truck is just about as done as it gets, and I don't feel any urge to build something else right now. I gues I will just live vicariously through Don's build thread. Happy Rodding guys----Brian

Well Brian, I hope you change your mind about building something else. The talent you have for writing, I know it would be fun to follow along. Congratulations on your trophy.

Certainly well deserved trophy, Brian. Your truck rocks. You're living vicariously through my build, and I'm living vicariously through you being able to actually drive yours. :) :) Guess who is the luckier of us two ?? :D
