First race - 8 months old
I'm a proud dad.
"my son come in second in his first race "
If I wasn't for a left hand pull ,a lil'rain and 2 false starts (we WILL have a new crew chief next year! ) we would of had first .
the build: Shoehorned a 427BB w/6-71 Supercharger w/twin four barrels out of a 1968 L-88 corvette where it shouldn't go ( that's 435 tp ! ). Then hand built a custom one-off aluminum side opening hood out of some stock we had laying around, customized a set of big block headers to fit and then made a set of polished brass zoomy type headers for the whole set up.
Paint : crunch time the night before trying to get the presentation just right and make sure we didn't leave any sponsors off . ---- " hope Brent likes it "
"please send cash w/autograph requests
he should be able to write his name in a few years so be patient please."

The problem is obvious, not enough traction at high speed. Needs a wing!

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
