very sorry to hear that dave, and what a very long wait for the family for his chance to return. we just had a drunk run a stop light 3:25 A.M no lights on. while we were leaving work thursday and rear ended a co worker, he was life lined to indy and is in very critical condition.
Real sorry to hear of your buddy Dave. Thats a long time in a coma and my heart goes out to the family and you.

Dave really sorry to hear that. Hope he's in a better place now and is at peace. I lost my Mom to a drunk driver back in 73.

Dave - My condolences to both you and Jerry's family. And you are right about Jerry being in a better place to day. I find no fault in his family keeping him on support, as there has been several cases of people coming out of a coma after nearly 30 years. It would be extremely hard for me to turn off the power for my daughter, even at the end of my life.
It's a real shame that the person on life support wasn't the drunk who hit him. Would have been much better to have had their lives reversed.

As you say tho........now he's in a better place, but it would sure be nice to have him back.....in a selfish way.
But you'll see him again in your own time, up at that big parts store in the sky. Till then.......he's in your heart and thoughts.
