As for the getting on and navigating, yeah, looks like a problem. Getting in through the link in the notification email seems to work normally, but can't get in through the URL to the home page. Likewise, I usually get to the list of current/new threads using the "Club Hot Rod" link above left. That doesn't work either. However if I click the "Club Hot Rod Forums" link above that it take me to the Forum title page and can navigate around through there (though not as easily or quickly).
EDIT: Well, within the past few minutes it's back to working. And for those wondering, I did do a cookie/temp file clear earlier that didn't change anything.Last edited by Bob Parmenter; 02-04-2008 at 09:13 AM.

What is censorship?
What is censorship??
Am I drinking beer with my brothers US Army Ranger buddies in an army bar or am in a chuch for a funeral.
Just about anyone can log on here and view things.
I think we can all express ourselves without using extreme profanities.

Sh*t has nothing to do with church - although most of them have some accommodations therefor. However, we all realize that the word is not generally acceptable in that environment.
Sh*t is a vulgarity, not a profanity, per se. Vulgarities are crude, and usually relate to bodily functions, but don't involve profanity. Using the strict definition, profanity involves taking the name of some deity in vain. - as does cursing or swearing.
However, none of them are normally acceptable in polite company (or on polite forums) . . . if anyone gives a . . . well <Censored>Last edited by Henry Rifle; 02-04-2008 at 05:44 PM.

When I was a little boy, the old people in my village (Jeez, this sounds like a native epic) called dragonflies "Devils Darning needles". It was explained to all foul mouthed little boys, that if you cursed and the good Lord heard you, the devils darning needles would swarm about your head and sew your lips shut!!! As I grew older, I found out that you couldn't take a lot of what the old folks told you literally.----However, I have reached the ripe old age of 61, and I still curse more than I should----but I still flinch whenever I'm outside in the summertime and see a damned dragonfly!!!Old guy hot rodder

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
