yea, dosn't make a lot of of sense. considering that an electric pencil sharpener would take much less power. A mechanical sharpener driven off of a cam would look cool tho.:)
What about taking a small permanant magnent motor from a cheap toy, hooking a pully up to it an a small lightbulb or LED from the wires to make a small generator?
