Meet my new "Little Friend"
I collect all kinds of things & one of them is Smoking Stuff even though I haven't smoked in 30plus years. I have lighters of all kinds & ash trays from Car dealers, radio stations, restaurants, service stations & Casino's that have long been gone. Well today I added to my collection, an older lady friend asked me to pack up everything in one of her rooms because she is moving & I came across an ashtray. So I told her I collected them & asked if I could have it & she said sure it's yours. So I'd like to introduce you to my new friend Bibendum. He's not the real old one made from Bakelite but is a 60-70's remake of him, but HEY I'm not complaining cause he just added to my collection of ODD Stuff....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Joe, that is a nice collection, I noticed you have an ash tray on the top shelf from my hometown, the Chattanooga Choo-Choo train terminal ash tray.

YEPPERS, my Pop was a bible salesman(really) and he was down in Memphis(1982) & the wife & I took a trip down there to visit him. While we were there one of the things we did was to go to Chattanooga and went to the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Terminal Station & ya just gotta have a souvenir so we got that & a hat. Great times to remember since we also went to Jack Daniels, Elvis's house and met Johnny Cash his wife & her sisters.

Neat stuff, Joe. I got a bunch of stuff, but my wife won't let me have it in the house, garage yes, house no.I have several ashtrays from the Playboy clubs from the 60's and early seventy's, plus old lighters, beer glasses, etc. One of my favorites is a little metal frog that clicks when you squeeze him. The GI's used them in WWII to identify other GI's. It also irritates the little woman when I play with it.
