We have a Sargent in our house

I am happy to announce that FINALLY the Marines have given our son Joe his Sargent stripes. He passed his tests well over a year ago but for what ever reasons(well one was too many Sargents in his plattoon http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/im.../thumbdown.gif ) didn't give them to him until yesterday. The family is very happy for him and Joe said there are many more stripes to come. He also said he likes his 2 pay increases, one for his stripes and the other because of his yrs in.
I guess I'll have to address him as Sgt Weimer from now on,lol. Just one more thing to be proud of when I talk about our son :D ......joe
