I have no idea what that is; early Crosley maybe?
Heck, I don't know.
Panhard maybe?

My thanks for the visit and reply
We had a drizzle on the go - so I did not go out to look at the emblem on it. I have been thinking of an early Crosley too, but I am not certain. I wish the rain was visiting someone else so I could go out and get a better look.
Looks like the car Peter Falk drove in "Columbo"; I think it might be a Peugot (sp)?. I dunno!
I agree - it does look like a bit like Colombo's car. I wish the showers were not around so I could get a better look at the emblem and name.
Heck, I saw the thread title, "an 'Ol Classic" and thought it was about Uncle Bob!!!!!:LOL::LOL:
I would guess european. By the trim I would say it is newer than a Crosley, and bigger too. Maybe some Muntz model? Looks a little like one, but I don't think it is.
I don't think it's Columbo's car ,( 1960 Peugeot ) Here's a website with most cars that
have been in a movie or TV show . http://www.imcdb.org/
It's a "neo-classic" built just a few years ago by Nissan primarily for the home market. It's called a Figaro. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Figaro
I thought the trim looked too new to be a 50s-60s model. Those door handles and the windshield trim looks like '80s or newer styling.
I think it's called a - Fugo - honest - a guy that works at Lordco here on the Island in Parksville has one as his daily.

Bob was right....again!
I Googled "Nissan Figaro", and there were many pictures like this one......
