I keep getting these stupid lung infections every month.
So I am back on meds again for the 5th time in 6 months.
The doc said it's this humidity here in florida.
Me and the wife have been trying to get the house ready so we could rent it out. Then we are making a run for the boarder.
Back home to Las Vegas, I'll miss the Gators and the Mosquitoes, NOT.
Plus I'll be buying some sand rails for some much needed R & R.

Wind looks to have calmed down finally.
81 right now 26% humidity; this is our best time of the year. Pretty soon it will be so hot and humid I’ll be wishing for winter, then wish back to summer. I want to go to that place that Walgreen’s advertise as paradise!!

Hi guys, while we are stuck down here facing our winter months I am interested in learning more about where you live in the good old USA. Like Bob where is Maple Valley WA and is the 'gators really a problem? We watch those TV programs filmed in those neat places but they don't really show what living in the real world in those places are like. I am keen to learn as my father always told me "the day you stop learning is the day you die".
Actually I'm in Vegas right now, the stuff I put up this morning was what WC was predicting for Vegas..................Maple Valley is SE of Seattle a few miles and much cooler and moister this time of year, WC shows temps and humidity in the 50s.Quote:

Western equine encephalitis are just a couple of the Mosquito-Borne Diseases. We don't have these problems in Vegas. Plus I don't think any of my dogs had fleas or problems with heart worms like we do down here in Florida. Kurt

Hey,good question,Whiplash,,I think a lot of us down here in the southern hemisphere,sorta dont realise the different climates you guys have up there in that country of yours..and all at the same time..yeah,we understand summer,winter,spring and autumn,but the variation of all that all over the country,if ya follow my meaning...You know...while Dave Severson is getting over a real freeze up in the Dakotas,someone is dying of thirst somewhere in a desert in Arizona...:D

It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with
picnic tables, horseshoe courts,and some apple, and peach trees.
One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he
hadn't been there for a while, & look it over. He grabbed a 5-gallon
bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard
voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer, he saw it
was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond. He made the
women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end.
One of the women shouted to him, 'we're not coming out until you
leave!'
The old man frowned, 'I didn't come down here to watch you
ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked.'
Holding the bucket up he said, 'I'm here to feed the alligator.'

Thanks Mike52, I have to do something or atleast try something because every time I go out to try to get some thing done on my project car I end up sucking wind and getting sick.I love my set up here but I just can't take the humidity if I'm getting sick everytime I walk out the door. Kurt
