checking in
had to swing bye and see how the oll gang's doing! ive been busy rebuilt the motor in the nova went out and blew it up.
pulled it out and sold what i had for spares and extras and all my gen 1 sbc stuff and bought a 6.0 LS long block with aftermarket cam and springs, and a set of ported heads. gonna do the msd box and edelbrock carb intake should be fun!!!

Welcome back to the best club around. I don't know you but you have been around for a few years so you must know most of the ratbags on here, just don't upset our Uncle Bob as he has some nasty photos that he likes to give people on here. Just check out the Kiwi girls that we have down under.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

You're going to love the LSx engine, just need to have the metric wrenches handy though. In case you don't know, LS1Tech is an incredible site for info regarding those engines and related pieces. Welcome back and good luck with the engine.

oh yeah been on there pickin some brains. shooting for an 11-5 or 12:1 combo.
got a huge deal on the long block, 6.0 block crank rods trex cam ported heads with patriot springs for 900 bucks

Sorry Jack but you really don't want to go there, but if you must, Uncle Bob has kept his source a top sercet file and if you ask nicely,he just may let you see some of them.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
