Hello, we are in need of asking for donations.

To those who don't believe that texting while driving is not a issue or dangerous, my niece proves that it can & will happen, although she was a good driver.

She turned around on a gravel road, was texting for directions, ran a stop sign, attempted to cross the highway and was hit broadside on the driver's side door at 55 mph. We thank the Lord that she did not suffer.

Since we can't have children, I love my niece Alley like my own daughter.

So please,.... Turn off your texting cell phone while driving, or pull over !

We have started a Non-profit organization called, "RACERS AGAINST TEXTING WHILE DRIVING".

We race 360 winged sprint cars, and are building a unique two seat. Street legal sprint car, to use as a tool for campaigning with this cause. The plans are to attend the Nebraska State Patrol safety events, car shows, car races, and this sprint will be the pace car for Eagle Raceway, in Eagle Nebraska.

We are asking for donations to build the sprint car. 90% of the car will be built using the same parts as with our racing sprint. We have build a single seat sprint for a customer. Photo is below.

Sorry to hear about your loss, truely tragic! I was behind a Durango the other night and we were traveling on a 2 lane highway where the posted speed limit is 45 mph, but everyone and I mean everyone is going a minimum of 70mph. His brake lights stayed on for over 3 miles and when I got a chance to pull alongside of him to tell him this I notice he is reclined way back in his seat texting while his passenger was steering!:eek: Too much for me...CR

People just don't get how dangerous this problems is !
"ah, I can do it, I'm a good driver, no problem". Ya,..Right. :mad:

A friend went bowling, the family next to them had 5 people, the mother picked up a ball with her right hand, and texting with her left hand, as she sent the ball down the lane. It was a gutter ball. The point is, she couldn't put the damn cell phone down for 1 hour, to enjoy being with a family night out !

What the @ell is wrong with our society ! :whacked:

People young & old, are ADDICTED,... to texting.

My sisters boyfriend drives a big rig, weighting over 50,000 lbs, and they text each other as he flies down the interstate with thousands of gallons of gasoline. He's going to kill himself, if not many others around him. You know what his excuse is, "well, I'm very bored".

There are company's making touch less/hands free texting devises today, similar to GPS devices, but I don't hear much, if any, advertisements for them ?

We have been accepted by the Nebraska Secretary of State with our non-profit organization name, "Racers Against Texting While Driving". We've also filed for the 501 (c)3 and 1024 form to be tax exempt.

We've set up a dedicated website on 1 and 1, and should be up & running soon.

So, we are a legal organization. :)

We have received a Maxum sprint car frame, fuel cell, some steering parts with hopefully, more to come next week.
