my thoughts exactly I have a 57 4dr that may just become my new plow car lol what do I have to loose I was going to scrap it anyway

A guy I locally did that w/72 Chevelle Wagon back in the 80's.
It stayed around town I know for at least 10yrs or so.
I asked Ed one day why in the hell did he waste a 72 Chevelle wagon for.
Told me it was all left over parts from a bunch of 72 Chevelle's he had owned along w/a 72 wagon shell & a rusted POS 4x4 and figured "Why not!!!".
Nice thing about it(if that's what u call it) was it wasn't jack a mile in the sky, heck the body was even lower on the frame then the above 57 Chevy..joe

Now if I could find a vintage body like that which would fit on my 87 F250 plow truck frame (133" wheelbase), I'd jump all over it.

How about an old stretch limo Bill??? Then on the really bad days you could cruize town and pick up your help and give them a ride to work, give customers a ride, or just have a whole bunch of fun!!!

I really want to stay away from anything that extends the wheelbase or body, I've got a few tight turns around the shop that I have to contend with. As for picking up my employees, heck, they all live farther from the shop than I do :rolleyes:

Gasser heck, I wonder if it is a diesel? I echo the comment of a great use for a 4 dr tri-5.
