An Early Air Rifle
Like many on this site, I am an affection ado of fire arms of just about any vintage. I'm also interested in history and found this video to be absolutely spellbinding. Hope some of you enjoy it as well.

Thats just flat out KEWL. It says it will put a hole in a 2 inch pine board. Wonder why it wasn't widely used or produced ? Or was a single shot muzzle loader that much more powerful ? Seems to me that rifle could have dominated the war of the States..

Really interesting. I was thinking BB gun type of rifle, that thing was really cool.
I wonder too why it never caught on? Maybe the 1500 strokes to pump it up were a determining factor.
