While my street rod will never give up it's v8, I hope this invention works as described! Many benefits for all of us!
that is what i was thinking.
I think I'll wait for it to come out on DVD. :whacked:
Don't see it powering a car into the 9's......therefore, it's boring....
Wait til' you see the DVD Dave.
I think I'll reserve judgement until I actually see one running. There have been a lot of these "wonder engines" in the past, but somehow, between conception and birth a lot of them end up stillborn.
I wish them the best, but I don't think I will invest a lot of my money until I see some proof.
Much ado about nothing. It will never see the light of day. Every so often, some super gee-whiz double over and under throwdown new design shows up. There is much patting each other on the back and toasts all around, then you hear nothing else about it.
I'll bet most of you think the motor in a Mazda is a Wankel, don't you? It is not. Felix Wankel's original design had to be disassembled to change the spark plug and was a true rotary. What we are seeing now in the Mazda is a figure-8 elliptical design by Toyo Kogyo engineers.
If this new wonder motor ever does show up, it will bear no resemblance to what was shown on this video. And I really don't think it has a chance. Big oil will buy off the necessary Senators and Congressmen to pass legislation banning the design and that will be that.
tech i totally agree. it is a crying shame that some of the best inventions never see the light of day because of politics.
The one I thought interesting was the 6 stroke engine.
Originally by Dyer, and more recently by Crower.
Dunno if it works as well as they say, but it's a cool concept, google it.
I'll wait to see how they work out for everyone else first.
Cool concept! It reminds me of the water powered engine last year, that sort of disappeared too. I hope them success!
Here is a video on the water car

Toyo Kogyo??????? Isn't he some little dude or dog or something that Ed Sullivan used to have on his show?????:confused::confused:
Its starting to get a little more difficult to just buy a patent and not use it.
You only need an energy starved country or a country without reciprocal patent laws and a new concept could get into production readily.
So much for the obstruction by the big money
Neat idea....................... Probably won't work in the real world. Or will only cost 50,000.00 for the engine. And there's durabilty........... I am skeptical since I can already see that the numbers are skewed. A conventional gas engine only uses 15% of it's fuel............. what a 1927 model T. Modern engines especially when you are talking now are much more efficient than engine designs of even 15 years ago................ Might make a nice toaster though..........:D
