My sister is in Shippensburg, PA, and they are getting rain now, but no big winds yet which are expected soon. She's hoping for the power and water to remain on, which is their biggest worry.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I've been looking at where the storm is coming ashore in NJ - exactly where my daughter Kim, GC and hubby live. They seem to get the worst - from hurricanes, hot weather, bodies from crashing airplanes in their yard .....Dave W

Expecting gusts in the 60s tonight, here in No. VA. No power at home but I'm on duty at our firehouse where the V8 generator is chugging away.

Just the one blink so far, but some of the hill towns nearby are powerless according to the news. National Grid (British!!) bought the power company a few years ago, 'retired' the high paid/experienced help and have done minimal maintenance so everything is old and in poor shape locally. I do expect that we will be in the dark eventually - as usual in ANY storm.Dave W
