Nascar Michigan
Don't know if anyone noticed but Dale Earnhardt Jr. finally won a NASCAR race!
While I wasn't pleased the HMS got another win.. I was happy for JR. to get back in the winner circle.

Well, at least all the "When is Junior going to win" bs will stop for awhile!!!! I dunno, maybe he's got his head screwed on straight now and he'll go back to being a race car driver....Time will tell, certainly having a benchmark season this year!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I saw one clip where he sorta said that, something about being "...surrounded by the right people for me now....."
Personal likes and dislikes aside, that Hendricks is one accomplished manager of people. He seems to have the skill and patience to tweak the organization until it produces results. He's probably as accomplished in is auto dealer empire (more likely that happened first). LeTarte deserves a lot of credit too for dealing with the spin off pressures that must have been there. And for a setup that suited the track/driver. It seemed like nearly all the other teams had some level of tire issue except the 88...................that's how ya win 'em.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Think you're probably right on Rick Hendricks, one heck of a businessman!!!!! I don't suppose he'd consider giving up racing to be President, would he?????
As for Smoke, he'll always be Smoke---just tell it like you see it!!!! Reminds me of AJ a bit more every time he's in the media!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
