My wife drives a 2008 Malibu.
The turn signal works fine but it won't cancel anymore.
Question is this: How big a can of worms would I be opening if I tackled trying to fix it myself?
Some things to take into consideration are:
1. I don't know how it works on that car
2. My arthritic hands and back
3. My low level of intelligence.
Advice would be appreciated.

be careful of the airbag-----I don't eat off a plate that has a land mine in the middle!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with Jerry. You can do it, but you need to get the OEM instructions, disconnect the battery, discharge any capacitor that might be there to serve the airbag, etc, etc to pull the wheel on a modern vehicle. Then when you put it all back there are ordered steps to getting it all back in working order, so that you know the airbag will function if needed. I'd either take it to the dealer (ouch!!) or find a really good independent shop that you have confidence in for that type of complexity. Thanks, Jerry and Roger. That's really what I wanted to hear.
That little Malibu is a good car in most respects but it has some annoying habits.
Be that as it may, she's happy with it.
Therefore my opinions are unwelcome.
