    Adding to my collection.....

I collect lots of odd ball misc crap like dog tax tags, old jelly & peanut butter drinking glasses, pens/pencils, mini food boxes & even have a real Cuban Cigar But two collections I have is not of my wanting. They involve replacement parts & scars. In 27hrs I go under the knife once again to get a new knee Been putting it off for about 5-6yrs or so & it's gotten to the point where my left knee is swollen & in constant pain 24/7 because of being bone on bone. If all goes as it did with my right knee I figure by Monday or Tuesday I should be back home & walking w/out crutches a day or two later.
Had I known how easy my recovery was going to be with my right knee I would have taken the doctor up on the offer of doing both knees at the same time. I have had 6 or more repairs on each knee & had a hellva time with each one. Bad swelling, on crutches for a month or more & hurt like hell.
Got a total knee was up walking w/in 24 hrs & in 5 days I was walking w/out help & took no pain pills.
    I love modern medical technology..........joe

    Two possibilities exist:
Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
    Both are equally terrifying.
