Nice looking truck....what does it have for a drive train?

Lots of good gently used stuff in OK! No salt/chemicals on the roads in the winter, generally minimal to no rust. Looks like a beauty! What year?
Great looking 71 or 72! You sure don't find them like that up here!
Thanx Guys, Yep a 71 with 350/350 3:73's in the rear, Gonna stuff a set of 3:08's in it next week, for sum left lane time.
Right again Roger, ZERO RUST. 2 small dents in 1 fender
Put a new exhaust system on it yesterday.
Does that dealer add on A/C work pretty nice? I've skipped a couple units like that in junk yards and always wonder how they actually work.
I used to grab all the decent looking add on AC units I could lay my hands on (still have a couple sitting on the shelf).
They are actually pretty bullet proof even after sitting for years. normally lube the motor up, spray some WD40 on the switches and get them working smoothly then enjoy them.
The old York, A6 (GM) and V2 (Mopar) compressors were all good units just bulky and a pretty good power drain........I've been using Sandens on everything for the last 15 years or so.

neat little pickumup!
i have a 69 version that i've owned for 7 yrs and luv it.once i rebuilt it i use it every day for work and it brings a smile to my face every time i drive it.mine has the 4.11 gears and it runs out of legs at around 55-60 mph but i've got used to it and a swap to 3.7gears and a rebuild of the knotchy limited slip is going to happen soon.
you probably know this but the 12bolt diffs have different size carriers for the gears-series 4 is for 3.73 and higher gears and you can't put a 3.08 gear on without a spacer or something like that.
the series 3 carrier is for the lower gears.found this out the hard way after buying a new set of 3.08 gears and then googling how to do the change-over.cause i'm a cheap barstard i found it easier to sell those and buy the 3.73's.
