Why does my lawn equipment idle faster (in my case run better) just before it is about to run out of gas? Please quiet in the audience...:rolleyes:

I would think that the gas mixture going into the engine leans out as the gas runs out causing the engine to increase in rpm's ....
Or maybe the question should be....... why does it run out of fuel when you only have one strip leaved to do ???
Wouldn't that be the same thing as when "WE" take our last breath? - - - - - Em
The engine is leaning out causing the RPM to increase.
Actually, it is just teasing before it laughs at you!
If it "leans" out too far will it tip over? :eek: I've used that one a few times over the years. :whacked:
My Ex is a Speech Pathologist and would agree that this happens. She would come home and say such and such at the home was energetic or youthful today and then ... well, just like my mower. Thanks for the answers. Since I was a kid when the mower would run better just before running out of gas I would think, well isn't that funny. Wish it ran that good full....
Here is one for a laugh - What can you put into a bucket to make it weigh less?
?holes????????????
air:whacked::D;):3dSMILE:
The mower runs better because the motor is warmed up! :)
