Thanks for posting...... the last picture could be in anyone box of family photo's.. it seems back in the day we all were leaning on or sitting on mom and dads cars when we had our picture's taken...
Late 1940's early 1950's - The 4 Weimer Boys w/Art Fessler w/his two boys at their parents (Joseph and Anna Weimer's) house, Larrabee, Iowa.
From L to R the adults are John Weimer - Art Fessler - George Weimer - Tony Weimer - Henry Weimer. The two boys are Carl & Harold Fessler. Art Fessler was married to my dad's(George) sister & the two young boys belong to him. The 4 Weimer's are my father & his brothers
Some really neat shots Joe, thanks for posting them!
NEAT pictures, and in my stompin grounds!!! The pictures along the highway with the boulders were probably taken in Texas Canyon (in Arizona) Interstate 10 runs thru there and it's about 30 miles from here.
The Crystal Palace is in Tombstone (down the street from the OK Corral), still open and a pretty popular place. Brewery Gulch in Bisbee is still there but there are really only 2 real bars left, St Elmo’s about ¾ of the way down on the left and where the stairs are on the right is the Stock Exchange bar (it actually started out as a Stock Exchange during Bisbee’s heyday).
Back when I was single there were a lot of Sundays riding the old Harley with a couple of friends to Tombstone and then over to Bisbee …..we called it the Beermuda Triangle Run. :D
.
Great stuff, Joe, thanks for sharing - - - - - shouldn't Faye Dunaway be in that last pic somewhere? LOL
have a great day - - - - - meller
