Want to reduce weld splatter? Want to keep your nasal clean (Bring on the jokes)? The guys in the shop love this anti-splatter spray. Thought I would pass it along. Perhaps it's common knowledge; was new to me....
i have a small tub of it. looks like wax, just dip the end of the welder into it . makes a huge difference .
Always had a tub of it on the weding table when I worked at Winnebago back in the 70's.
I tend to push the puddle, easy to see. The drag method suggested in the article keeps the splatter in the puddle, sounds logical thinking I will give this a try.
Splatter in the nozzle, not a big deal for me, usually just keep it clean. I do that regularly cause I want max shielding and think the build up will effect the gas curtain.
