Nice score. That worked out great on the hauling deal too!
And look what is towing the cool car, a Hum Ding Thing that one gets 3 miles to the gallon with if one is lucky, hope it is diesel powered.
Cool little coupe Don and I dear say you will have that sorted real quick too.
Is that Jeff's hummer or a close by neighbor?
Again, nice find.
Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the Hummer Don as I have only seen two here in NZ and then one of them has been stretched out to be a limo. I just was shocked at how little space for passengers there is in them and when I was told about the fuel consumption, I thought, NO THANKS, apart from ugly, they are not very practical unless used by the armed forces to appears.
Damn nice Coupe though.
Sorry, but the civilian H1's only share a few generic components with the military version - brakes, axles, frame and major body panels (hood, tailgate and quarter panels) are shared between the HMMWV and Hummer H1. Other components, including the power train, are not the same. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummer_H1 The one pictured is clearly badged an H2.
I'm with Roger. That is a H2 and in no way was ever a military vehicle. If it was you'd be hearing clatter clatter knock knock from the general's 6.2 or 6.5 Diesel! And the doors and body shell would all be metal or alloy aside from the hood, and not half plastic. You can see the H2 badge right on the door in your pic. Someone could have swapped in a 6.6 Duramax and then those MPG towing numbers would be closer. I've never heard any 6.0 gassers doing that well towing.

Mil hummers will soon be available as surplus. Military is replacing them.
Well that is all very interesting and yes, I read the articles on both the H1 and 2. I still believe they will go down in automotive history as damn ugly and would make any model Edsel look top notch.... JMHO.
