That's not a frikking blizzard, come to Utah, we've got single snowflakes that cover more ground than that! :D

I just left Coeur d' Alene Idaho, snow knee high, trees breaking, power lines snapping: I'm happy to be back in GA, 71* and light rain.

Yesterday and day before, I-40 was closed from Albuquerque to Texas state line. Lots of snow and 50 mph winds.
This was the scene from one end of town to the other waiting for 2 days for the road to open. All motels and off road truck parking was full.
It was reported that I 40 was closed all way across pan handle except for short segment in Amarillo
if you've ever been in the panhandle during the winter you would think no big deal. they have blowing snow than shuts down everything. also extends up through ok and into colorado. i got stranded between lamar and springfield one year. army came through and picked us up .
We've had diggers (track-hoes,) excavating dirt, trucks carting it, and concrete trucks carting in concrete for the floor of my new shed.
We could now do with a shower or two of rain to settle the dust...
I feel sorry for you guys.

Portions of I-44 were closed East of Springfield yesterday due to flooding. The Springfield area got over 10" or rain between Sat. and Sunday. I'm on a high spot so it bother me much, but all of the creeks were flooded and the storm sewers backed so it made driving an adventure.:eek::LOL:
Seventy degrees and sunny.
No work will get done on the dodge today, I'm going for a putt on the chief!
Cold here - relatively speaking, got to 50F today, 29F last night - but none of that nasty white down here at the lower elevations (2600 ft.). No precipitation, just blue skies for the most part, and wind.
