Another Gen I hemi freak.....
Fellows, I would like to introduce Dick Gibbs, (gibbstein), a very old and dear friend of mine. He has been a drag racer since forever, is a dyed-in-the-wool Mopar fan and is currently gathering parts to put together his front motor digger, with injected 392 power of course. Gibbs and I used to race go-karts together in Phoenix. He's a retired plumber and hails from Iowa. I convinced him to sign up here and start a build thread with pics.

Grest! Its good to have company, I use to be a Small block Chevy guy before I saw the light (more like flames out zoomies on a FED) of the Hemi. I have a couple 392's I am holding tight to as well as a couple 331's, will he be running nitro? Welcome to the board and I am sure I can learn from another early Hemi guy!Why is mine so big and yours so small, Chrysler FirePower

Welcome! From Iowa huh? What area? I have a 354 and am just a newbie to hemi's. A local guy has a front engine dragster with a 392. He has several early hemi's but he won't let go of any. Most are 392s. Dang the luck.Ryan
