(...and I've never seen hail of that size before either! That could do some serious damage alright...)
Not to hijack Ken's thread, but the roofer/estimator that came to look at my roof shared that he'd been called out to a home that they'd just re-roofed a few months before. The lady of the house had similar pictures of the hail in her yard, and was dismayed that her brand new roof was going to be beyond repair, but they saw zero evidence of hail impact anywhere on the house. It seems that the hail stones were huge slush balls, and had just hit with a SPLAT.Quote:

Thank you so much for the photo's and I would of or could of quoted so many photo's and asked the question, " What sort of car is this please? " as there were so many usual makes I just didn't recognize.

On the hail, we had some heavy wet hail storm this winter that took out a side of one of our semis coming down I-35 on his normal route. The hail broke the windshield but the rest of the tractor was OK because it is fiberglass/smc. The managers couldn't believe how bad the trailer was. They thought the driver was lying until one of them called a TMC manager they knew. They had 10 Petes get beat up in the same storm. That wet mushy hail is no joke.
