Bob, did you take that picture in your living room?
Ya know Bob, your elves look none too happy.
Merry Christmas to everybody on CHR, and to their friends and family too!
Ours was pretty quiet, our elder son, our daughter, one grandson, and his partner.
No punch-ups; not even a mild dispute.
So that's gotta be all good.
Son and grandson were given a pretty comprehensive tool box each; the theory being that it will keep them out of my toolboxes, where they habitually put things back (if they put them back!) in the wrong drawer so that I can't find them.
Here's hoping!
Rick, (our elder son,) shot off a bit after tea-time to visit with friends, while grandson Liam (aka Fred,) and his partner Anna (a nice girl,) followed his Mother (our daughter Rachelle,) through to New Plymouth about 8:00 to go look at the Christmas lights in Pukekura Park.
I gave Rosie the set of earrings She'd requested, and She gave me a model milk tanker that I'd requested.
I drove those things for years; this one is not one that I'd driven, (back-in-the-day they were Bedford, Commer, Dodge and Mitsubishi,) this is a Volvo like are currently in favour. But it still brings back memories of 99.99% boredom and .01% pure terror.
All in all a good day with most of the family able to make it home.
Merry Christmas to all. Was at the hospital working a quiet night when about 30 minutes before getting off work we had an emergency delivery of a Christmas miracle, a baby who got a very rough start to life. Stayed at work until our transport team arrived around 2 a.m. Very sick little kiddo! Happy he was doing well when I went home. Nights like last night always drives home what is important in life!
I'm late to the party but I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and was able to spend time with the ones you love.
