Happy Thanksgiving Everybody! We actually had ours last Sunday....only time when it worked for everybody to be here. Just now finishing off the left over turkey and Pie.

I could have really used that nap! I even got suckered into taking the wife black Friday shopping, It was so nice at 11:30 when we got back I finished winterizing our camper since it was so darn nice out.Quote:

Yes For the first time in probably 10 years I got this whole week off. I spent Tuesday and Thursday helping my brother Mike fixing a plaster delamination at his house so we had a good time together and with his family. And we got blessed rain which has cleared the smoke and air, and put out the fires plaguing everyone. Thanks for asking. Today I just cleaned up loose projects around the house, setting the truck aside until tomorrow when it will be easier to get to the truck and me not having to deal with cleaning.

Happy Thanksgiving week everyone! I too was lucky enough to have the week off from work. We had our thanksgiving on Sunday, when my step daughters and their boyfriends were able to make it over. I spent most of the time catching up on around the house projects. I've been cleaning the house and garage, and trimming trees, and catching up on reading/studying for work. We did manage to have a bonfire on Monday night, and grill some hot dogs. Today I plan on changing the intake manifold gasket, valve seals, and ac compressor on my daily driver '95 Camaro. With a little luck, maybe tomorrow I can get a litttle work done on the T- Bucket before I head back out on the road.
Belated wishes to all, just got back late last night from spending the holiday with family in SoCal. Turkey sandwiches all around...………………...
Yup, a bit late but Happy Thanksgiving to all on CHR. I have so much to be thankful for, first of course is my family which are still my highest priority. I went through some rough times again a couple years back, pneumonia then another stroke. I'm doing fine now (all things considered) but the entire ordeal was another lesson in the importance of having family that care about each other. Also grateful for my friends here on CHR who have stuck with me through my temper tantrums, frustrations, rants, and everything else. Thanks gang, always good to have friends!
