That's an 1/8th mile track not too far from the original 1/4 mile track. IIRC, a Miller brewery takes up the old location.
Even in the middle of summer it would get chilly there at night and the times and speed would increase, great place to race or spectate.Ken Thomas

Reading the article, there are a lot of "coulds" highlighted, and the current operator says it's business as usual, with plans for continued operations for many years..... but then refuses to disclose when his current lease expires.Roger
