Happy Veterans Day
Happy Veterans Day everybody and thanks to those who served.
It’s 4AM here so I’m waiting for the sun to come up to put the flags out. For the last few years I’ve been flying 3 on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
Flags by M Patterson, on Flickr
A 35 Star flag to remember my Great Great Grandfathers and the others who fought in the Civil War. A 48 Star flag for ones who served like my Grandfather (WWI), Dad and Uncle (WWII) and various Uncles (Korea). And of course 50 star flag for the ones in my generation and the ones who followed us.
Make it a good day everyone.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

And another AMEN from a transplanted Bay Stater. Great idea with the 3 different flags too.
That's funny about calling out the car models going by, that's one of my early memories sitting on a bus stop bench with my mom enthusiastically calling out the cool cars going by, I was about 4 or 5...
How did you get hooked on cars?
