hi from the far north.
i am in the process of building a different t bucket have 2 original front section doors rear panel etc off a 4 door touring . i am going to widen one of them approx 1 ft and stretch it some( i want a little room and i want the unit fairly low as i can manage . i have already a front clip from a rear steering box nova and am going to also use the rear suspension from the same. i have a 455 olds engine and th 400 to power it.
this will not be a show car but will be a runner and is being built for some off pavement dirt road blasting.
i have never built a frame but have a frame welder. what should i be using for frame steel as what i have seen for pre made frame seems pretty light . i was thinking 2 x 4 heavy wall any thoughts from anyone on the whole monster
