Did a little dismanteling on the benz
As most of you know, I have a '83 240D that I was going to put a 350 in but decided it was too much work, bought my chevy and still had plans to put a V6 in it but, when I looked under the car in late summer, the unibody was starting to " U ", so I bought the Falcon, my dad bought that benz for parts for his '83 and all he needed was the head, he was going to strip the car but I saved the car by telling him I wanted it, now that the car is mine and I'm told I have to get rid of it ( I don't need 3 cars anyway ), I get to tear it apart. I have the dash mostly dissassembled, grille, headlights and buckets, trim bezels and today I removed the front 1/4's and inner fenders, I was able to open the doors just right so I could get my 10 mil socket w/ 6" extension in there to pull the 3 bolts behind the door so, I was able to leave the doors on. It took me 1 hour to figure out how to get the passenger side compleatly off, I had all the bolts out but the 1/4's goes all the way into the front of the car and is screwed in 2 places with a special crimp into a center panal also ( must have taken a special tool but, a hammer and screwdriver worked for me ), 1ce off, it came right out, the second 1/4 took 10 mins because I knew where it was all fastened. Maby, after the falcon's road legal, we can pull out the motor and tranny for parts like starter, alternator and other such items. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Sounds sweet Matt. I thought the Falcon was already road legal but guess I was wrong. What do you need to have done to it to get it road legal?www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
