And because I know Dave S loves rat rods so much, I took some just for him.

Whoops, sorry if I duplicate some..........
This little modified was really something. He built the entire body out of Mahogany! It wasn't cheezy either, did a nice job. Took him like 6 years I think he said. He is now building a woodie station wagon.

Nice pics, Don.
I like to see "real" old school cars. It's good to see how it was actually done "in the day".
The wood car looks better than I would have thought.

Very nice Don. I was gardening today for reason's I don't want to go into! Wish I was there! I love that old car with the mailbox intake! The Merc. and the other cars were inspiring!

Don,
That '26 T was a good illustration of how they were built "back than." It's a lot different than a lot of folks think. Split bones and no drop on the axle. I was a bit surprised to see the coil-overs. Later addition, maybe?Jack

A little OT, but it's amazing how much that 51 Cad V8 looks like a small block Chevy. When I first glanced at the picture, that's what I thought it was.
Seems like I remember reading that the same engineers worked on both engines in the 40's and 50's and that the Chevy was just a refinement of the Cad design.

It's sure easier to get to the spark plugs on the Caddy heads - especially with headers.Jack

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
