I just picked up another "project"...
Don't ask me why... I guess because it was a good deal. I just bought a 1949 F-1 Ford Pickup. It's all apart and the chassis is started with a TCI MII front and rear leaf spring suspensions. The guy who started it is a friend and he just bought a new Mustang GT and decided he didn't need the truck project.
I am planning to get it running with a small block and 700R4. It comes with an S10 rearend also.
I picked up a 350 and 700r4 from another buddy and he dropped them off last night. I hope to get the truck picked up next week sometime but that will depend on time available.
I really don't know where I'll find the time to work on this thing but it is a lot less involved then the van and, once I get the frame cleaned and painted, it will basically be a bolt together project...
I do need some front fenders so, if any of you know where a decent pair is to be found, give me a holler...

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
