Its a 1940 Chevrolet Pickup nothing too fancy just something to tinker with. These were the only decent pictures that I was able to take with my out of date camera.

Body looks really good, as does the whole truck. What is it running for power?

Looks nice and straight! What are the plans for it? Did you build it or buy it? Looks like someone has put quite a bit of time into it!!!!
The truck has a 70-nova sub frame and rear-end. The motor and trans are 350/350. I didn't build it the first time but I have almost successfully rebuilt it. I don't like how the primer absorbs everything that touches it, but I do like the look of the flat black. So here in a few weeks I'm going to paint it with John Deere Black, looks like primer, but it is actually paint. I just got back from the Goodguys show in Des Moines and bought a gennie shifter and ordered a set of whitewalls for it as well. So there are still more changes to come, but its nice just to have something to tinker with.
I'm looking forward to seeing it on the street in the near future. :)

Nice truck, but never seen that grill on a 40 Chevy truck? A friend of mine has a sedan delivery, different grill, and other 40 pick ups I have seen had the same grill as his delivery.

You 40 Chev pickup is so clean looking and nice. With all the guy driving early Ford rods with chevy power maybe you might consider a 460 Ford to do a role reversal...just kidding! :) Enjoy your tinkering and driving.
