'33/'34 Ford w/nailhead

Does anyone have photos of a nailhead in a '33 or '34 Ford coupe? I've got an N&N '33 roller coming next week and will be installing a '62 401 (picture below):

I'm really interested in photos from the driver's side of the engine bay. I know it can be done, but want to see how the steering linkage clears the starter (I'll be using block-huggers to solve the manifold problem).

Welcome aboard.

Hopefully you haven't bought the block huggers yet, you may find the stock manifolds will fit as well or better. Looking at what others have done may or may not be as helpful as it would be guessed. Part of what determines where the steering components go is how you set up the steering column to fit your comfort. You don't indicate what your rod building experience is, so you may already know all of this. Personally, I often warn against, as one example, planning on using a tilt column to make up for bad placement of the column. You may also find out you'll have some difficulty with pedal placement, especially if you go with a clutch, for both steering, and exhaust routing. Best to have all the components in hand before getting too carried away with buying components to deal with issues that may or may not prevail.

Bob....thanks for the reply. I already got the Sanderson headers as a result of a deal I couldn't pass on (still have the stock manifolds just in case). This'll be my 6th project car, so hopefully past experience will help with the build (you never know though).

I agree it's tough to gauge how everything will fit until all the parts are in place. I'll definitely post photos of the car as it progresses.
