I imagine Ken would post if he wanted to or had the time, he's a busy guy. As for Don he's on the HAMB site as Bob mentioned.

Good to see it about done, i followed the build 'back when' and it seemed like he was going to go in a different direction - something about a 12cyl Ardun if i recall and a pickup. He is a creative guy and i was afraid the sedan would be pushed back into the shop. It really is a sweetie.
Thanks for posting these.
Last time I saw Ken he was building the Arden for another project. I'll have to ask for an update?
If you look at the pic Steve put up of the side shot with doors on, in the background the truck is under some blankets. That's the "Stainless car" in addition to the 12 cylinder "Ardun" engine. He's still planning to finish that one, but it's waiting it's turn right now.
Steve and Bob,
Thanks for the added info, much appreciated.:)
Jack.
So..............the thrash is on!
Ken has his paint guy in today to do the rub out while Ken is wrapping up some plumbing. Ken starts to put some fuel in the tank to test the system and get ready to fire the engine. You know what you get with a spinning buffing wheel on paint? SAFETY ALERT!!!!! You get static charge ...............mix that with gasoline vapors and........................yep...........FIRE!!
Fortunately another buddy/helper was right there to put out the flame from the tank, the jerry can, and Ken. No harm to Ken (well, maybe to his self esteem, let's keep this between us girls), nor to the car...................but a little too much excitement for one afternoon. All is well.............no harm, no foul.
He's still working to the fast approaching deadline and if all the rest goes well he be in the show.
WOW, reading that was giving me that sinking feeling! Glad to hear all is ok - thanks for the update!!
Ditto, as I read your post last night I was dreading the ending, but it was good, no one hurt, and as a bonus no damage to that fine sedan, either. Ken had to have been sweating bullets for a few seconds. Thanks, Unc.
Glad to hear he's o.k.! I was at the Sportsmans expo, so didn't get a chance to respond until this morning. Just a good reminder to us all to not take fueling up lightly!
Bob,
Thanks for the update.:) Good ending for a bad start.:HMMM:;):)
Jack.
So glad to hear Ken & the car are ok, got my fingers crossed for the GNRS.
.
Ken mentioned that Street Rodder will be doing a photo shoot of the sedan in their studio for an upcoming issue. That will be a super way to see the details of this machine.
I'm hoping to go over for the GNRS and congratulate Ken in person
.
He did his first drive yesterday, read and enjoy......
"Well I drove the car for the first time tonight. I know it's just an old car, but I have to say this one is the most rewarding. Honestly I don't care if anybody even looks at it at the show. If I wasn't in so deep with friends and relatives going, I wouldn't take it. Maybe I'll think differently tomorrow or maybe I'm just worn out but that thing made me so happy tonight I can't explain it."
And, as you would expect.........he made it!!
