I'm Back! And I Have A New Project.
I was a regular poster here when I was building my 32 Ford roadster. But once it was finished I kind of drifted away.
At the urging of Don (IToldYouSo) I have updated my registration and I'll be posting again from time to time.
My new project is a 1926 Model T 2 door sedan.
I'm using an all aluminum Olds 215 motor out of a 61 F85 adapted to a small bell housing 700R-4 transmission.
The chassis is something I fabricated out of 2"x5" and 2"x3" rectangular tubing.
My goal is something that is both unique and clearly a traditional hot rod. With the exception of the motor and transmission, and the 46 Buick steering gear and column, all of the mechanicals will be 48 and earlier Ford.
