I don't have any dyno numbers but I would almost bet ya that motor was class of the field ,a buddy had built a very similar motor with 30 over bore and 5.8 rods for his 305 sprinter he also did the 4 - 7 firing order swap, that one has dyno sheets @ 364 horses ( his word I haven't seen the sheets) but since done by a pro engine shop, cost a considerable amount more than mine. My kid can pull him on a straight away drag race ( I contribute it to the 6.2 rods ??)
We ran 27 shows this season,turned it 7200 rpm and I just finished getting it ready for winter storage, backed the rockers off and did a leak down wich showed perfect,pulled the pan and looked at a couple rod and main bearings and they looked very good although I will put new bearings in this spring. All in all I've been very impressed with these 305's..... Butttt still there ain't no subsitute for cubic inches...
WOW!!thats one bad 305, dont think i need all that in a bucket but it shows me theres nothing wrong with a 305 for what im using it for
