Can you design a CHR logo? $100 says you can! Submit it here.

We need shirts and hats and other stuff....

What I am thinking is that we need a nice logo for printing an embroidery, but I'm no artist. Submit your logo to this thread and we'll have a vote on each of the submissions to find the #1 design. The winner will receive $100 bucks and of course a shirt or two!

We'll close the window on this in a week or two and do the voting, so lets see what you come up with!

Note, the logos need to be free of trademarked or copywritten material, and royalty free (as in, assume that you're transferring ownership of the design).

Lets see what you've got!

A few hints:

• Keep the # of colors to a minimum (three to four max)
• Make the image big enough that you could put it on the back of a shirt....Making a logo smaller is easier than making it bigger.
• Think about what the masses will like.
• Think of a cool catch phrase to go along with it.

Good questions....Dimensions should be such that it will fit on the back of a shirt if necessary....Making an image smaller is much easier than making it bigger. :) I'm going to update my original post with a few suggestions.

I like it signshop. An idea would be to do the same concept with different styles of grilles, like a 32 grille. But that may be too many different ones to actually print though.

I like it bonehead but with my monitor it looks a little busy with the flames.

signshop that looks great. covers all the different things we do on this site.

DennyW - it's my standard copyright that is on everything I do. I have to use it or some clown will stick me.

I think it is un-fair that we have the "signshop" on this forum that makes sign's for a living that has entered the contest.

Mike, that is fantastic! Man, I wish I had just a small bit of that kind of artistic talent. I am good at stick figures though. :) By the way, I'm also doing the same thing for www.clubchopper.com if you want to play more (and take home another 100). I know you said you don't want the money, but...I feel good paying it. That's awesome work!

Is this contest only open for those who are in the bussiness of making signs. Could some one draw something up and scan ?

im pretty handy with an artist pencil, i cant run a cad program or photoshop for crap, hand draw only, but 2 weeks is a stretch to whip something up, the last post from signshop is pretty cool, here is a joking one, please its just for humor !

I really enjoy that logo- top notch quality and flavor. My only concern with that is that because it's so symmetrical it's going to almost demand that it be in the center of the page or the center of whatever it's on- if it's off to the side of the page, it's going to look out of place.

I think it will look great on the center of the back of a tee shirt or on a front pocket of a shirt! I'd like also to add what a great design! Incorperating the different styles of GMC and Ford was truely creative! :cool:

I have a question for Brent or Bill,how many pic. can we inter per person?,
my son is working on one but it's taking some time, I do have some pics. he has drawn of cars at my shop, I might be able to scan one just to get something going here, or is the contest over already? :confused:
